Experiment - can I get the #1 spot on google for my own name?

I am on a mission. I want to rank first on google for my own name and if possible for schoeny, my nickname, as well. The other Adam Schoenfeld is famous professional poker player. He has a wikipedia page and a really strong presence online. Right now Adam Schoenfeld returns a ton of info on the other guy. Even for my nickname (Schoeny) I am only ranking third (with this tumblr). Apparently there is an actor with the name Jeffrey Schoeny. Damn it!

This is not going to be easy. I am going up against some big time authority sites - wikipedia, imdb, and tons of poker sites. But I think i can make it happen because I have one asset the other guy doesn’t have… adamschoenfeld.com. Bam! Whats up now! So, I am planning to build a simple site on that domain that is well optimized for “Adam Schoenfeld.” More to come on this later. Should be a fun little SEO experiment.
