Some facebook app developers have been pretty sneaky with ad placement and design. I got an invite for the “which golfer are you” app and i couldn’t resist answering the 5 questions to figure out who I am. Notice in the above shot how the ad is placed just below the “finish” button and is disguised to look like part of the application. The finish button is part of the app, but the bold underlined “CONTINUE TO CLICK” is part of the ad… very sneaky. Not to mention the bad grammar in the fake CTA as well as the bad grammar in the app “which putter do you think the best”
