just snapped this photo at a bartells parking lot. There are 2 of these spots, basically positioned one notch below the handicap spots in terms of proximity to the door.
I’m assuming Bartells thinks that people with fuel efficient vehicles DESERVE to park closer because they care about the environment and are therefore better people. Unless the logic is that if I have a car that gets more than 40mpg then I have been saving money (we’re talking $4/gallon gas), so Bartells wants me to have the best parking spot because I have more discretionary income and I’ll spend more???
For some reason i find this idea to be incredibly interesting. What’s next… spots for people that give money to charity “This parking is reserved for people contributing >$X/year to local charities” or for people that are good parents “This parking is reserved for the #1 Dad”
